Peter Polak is a name partner of Fiebinger Polak Leon Attorneys-at-Law and head of the firm´s Corporate / M&A department. He graduated from the University of Vienna School of Law with a J.D. in 1982. In 1984 he obtained a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from the University of California, School of Law (Boalt Hall) and was subsequently admitted to the California Bar in 1986. He was admitted to the Austrian Bar in 1989.
Before joining Fiebinger Polak Leon Attorneys-at-Law he worked as an associate for Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher (1984-1985) and and for Preslmayr & Partner (1986-1990; first as an associate, then as a partner). Furthermore he was associate professor at the Webster University, St. Louis, Vienna Campus (1989).
Peter Polak is author of numerous publications in the areas of corporate, tax and anti-trust law and Certified Court Interpreter for the English Language.
Peter Polak has extensive experience in the areas of international transactions, corporate law, banking and finance and antitrust law.
