
Rudolf Fiebinger is co-founding partner of Fiebinger Polak Leon Attorneys-At-Law and head of the firm's litigation and international arbitration group. He graduated from the University of Vienna School of Law with a J.D. in 1979 and was admitted in Austria in 1986. Before joining Fiebinger Polak Leon Attorneys-at-Law he was assistant to the chairman of the board of Austroplan de Mexico S.A (an international settlement developer in Mexico City) (1977–1978), associate with the law offices of Heller, Löber, Bahn & Partner (today Freshfields) Vienna and Dr. Johannes Patzak, Vienna (1980–1986).
His principal areas of practice include arbitration and litigation. Rudolf Fiebinger frequently acts as counsel and arbitrator (whether party- or institution-appointed) in German, English, Spanish and French language arbitrations ad hoc as well as under the rules of the ICC, UNCITRAL, the Vienna Economic Chamber and other institutions. He is alternate member (Austria) of the ICC Court of Arbitration and former chairman of the Board of the Austrian Arbitration Association and his experience covers a wide variety of disputes.
