Fiebinger Polak Leon Attorneys at Law advise ADCURAM on takeover of Haas Group’s building components division

Bert Ortner, partner at Fiebinger Polak Leon Attorneys at Law, has advised German industrial group ADCURAM on its entry into a new business field, overseeing the Austrian part of the transaction.
The Haas building components division comprises Bayerwald Fenster und Haustüren, Hoco Fenster und Haustüren, and Wo&Wo Sonnenlichtdesign, the latter of which is located in Graz. The three notable companies have a long and rich tradition, employ a total of 800 employees, and boast a combined annual turnover of more than €100 million.
Privately-owned industrial group ADCURAM is headquartered in Munich, employs a 2,000-strong workforce, and has a global turnover of around €480 million. The group is interested in acquiring companies that show potential, with a view to developing them further sustainably.
In addition to Bert Ortner (49), who oversaw the Austrian part of the transaction, ADCURAM was advised in Germany by TRACC Legal (Thorsten Steinhaus) and Christian Böcker (ADCURAM inhouse).
The sellers were advised by Karsten Gschwandtner of KPMG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft.
ADCURAM has been a client of Fiebinger Polak Attorneys at Law for many years. Bert Ortner had already successfully advised the company in a variety of projects concerning operations in Austria.
