Bert Ortner of the Viennese law firm Fiebinger Polak Leon Attorneys-at-Law has successfully advised the Dutch national postal service (TNT) on the sale of its share in the joint venture redmail to Styria Media Group.
redmail – a joint venture of the Dutch national postal service (TNT) and Styria Media Group AG – concentrates on the regional delivery of newspapers in Austria. TNT would now like to focus on its core business: the delivery of addressed letters in the main markets of Germany, Great Britain and Italy.
Approval of the competition authority is required before the acquisition may be completed. Both parties agreed that all further details concerning the acquisition would remain confidential.
